Despite the noisy atmosphere from nearby functions and adjacent rooms, my stay was enjoyable. The hotel exceeded expectations in terms of service and location, though some improvements could enhance the dining experience. Overall, a good choice for a comfortable stay.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were perfect; I usually complain about the pillows, but not this time—they were just like home. The bathroom was lovely and sparkling, with Scottish bottled water and a variety of teas provided. The only downside was the lack of enough hangers in the wardrobe for a longer stay. The bar staff were efficient and friendly, and the dining room staff truly went over and above to make my birthday celebration special. The food was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful, despite small plates and some difficulty cutting the square sausage. It was rather hot at night, and a fan would have been a welcomed addition.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were absolutely fine but had some drawbacks like being very hot at night without a fan, uncomfortable beds, and noise from upstairs. The staff, while mostly friendly and helpful, had some ups and downs in terms of service quality. The location was quiet and peaceful but had some areas that needed improvement. The dining experience was average with some delays and limited options. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
